Handbag Hangers Get a Makeover

I have been re-acquainting myself withPurse hooks which I first came across some years ago.  At the time I believed that they were a funky concept, however in no time at all saw they were more than that.  In one of my earlier feature I highlighted the lack of hygiene our handbag face when we put them down on the floor and other surfaces.

purse designers have also improved and added to the original Purse Hangers and the market now offers aside from the Classic Purse Hook ; Folding Purse Hook  and Bracelet Purse Hook 

The Classic range, a neat, timeless hanger is just the perfect size to slip perfectly in our handbags .There are some elegant and unique designs and manufacturers even offer a customised variation !  In addition to purse hooks, you can also buy matching cell phone hooks in this range.   They  clip not only to the phone but to the bag as well – eliminating the mad scramble that ensues when it is ringing madly and remains lost at the deepest corner of your purse

The Folding Purse Hanger are a very useful design. Only two inchesdiameter, and weighing only a couple of ounces, they fit into the tiniest of bags. Slightly more expensive than the Classic range, these would likely be considered more of an accessory than the Classics which, although neat and pretty, are more functional.  The Folding Purse hanger is attractive by design, functional , and then folds away for storing in our purse .

Only slightly dearer than the Folding hookshangers,  there are the Bracelet Purse Hangers which, just like the name suggests, you can wear , making them not only fashionable but practical – a really elegant personal or handbag accessory, but all the same fulfilling the function of a purse hook , keeping our bags off the floor. 

Some of the current designs are extremely handsome and, it could be said, you really don’t need a handbag to accompany them!

All in all , all three designs are useful , unique and elegant and all  are priced reasonably .  If we care to make the effort, for little extra cost, our handbags can be more hygienically protected.

I cant wait to see how this market develops .  I am convinced there is still plenty of room for more designs in all three ranges, and who knows, a brand new Purse Hanger .
