Despite the advancement in fashion and technology there are still a small number of unisex watches available. It is only in recent years that there has been more designs available which can be worn by any gender. Watches can be worn to casual events or even to formal social gatherings. Jewelry of all types is very popular in the world today.

Still, old habits die hard, and because we think of watches as fashion accessories and we still think of fashion along gender lines, there is an abundance of men’s and ladies watches for every example of a unisex timepiece. But why shouldn’t watches simply be the functional pieces of equipment that they are? Has anyone ever thought of men’s and women’s pocket calculators? Okay, so no one wears pocket calculators anymore, but this raises another interesting point: will watches one day go the way of pocket calculators?
