and this is Billiexluxury today I have a really exciting video for you guys we're going to talk
all about starting your van cleef and arpels find jewelry collection where to begin we're going
to talk about price point we're going to talk about popular Styles I'm going to show you all
of the most affordable pieces from van cleef and arpels to get started on your luxury journey
and I have a really exciting announcement so I will pop that in the time stamps you can skip
to that if you like but stay tuned for that that anyway let's get cracking on this video
okay so the most affordable necklace that you can purchase from van cleef and arpels is
actually the the trace chain so it comes in two different lengths it comes in 42 CM which
would be quite High sort of in this little area here and it also comes in a 70 CM so this comes in
18 karat yellow gold rose gold and white gold in the shorter 42 CM version and then it comes in 18
karat yellow gold uh for the 70 CM which would be more of like a long pendant a lot of people uh
combine these with the Zodiac pendants um that you can purchase separately from van cleef and
arpels but if you want just a really beautiful sparkly nice plain uh gold chain then their Trace
chains are really beautiful and they also have the same chain that is on the bracelets that is the
chain that is used for the necklace so it's super sparkly as you can see it's a really pretty chain
and it's really shiny so if you want that just as a basic chain like I have here I have a Tiffany
and Co beaded chain just by itself and then I've added a pendant to it you can do that with the
van cleef and arpels trace chain okay we've come to my really exciting special announcement so

we are starting to look at the alhambra collection the Vintage Alhambra is the more expensive price
point and the sweet Alhambra is the cheaper price point so when you're beginning your collection
a lot of people often start with say a sweet Alhambra bracelet or a sweet Alhambra pendant
because they are the more affordable pieces in the collection now just to give you an idea
of size I have two vintage Alan brow bracelets here and I'm wearing the sweet alhambra ear studs
I'll just zoom in on that for you so these ones I have in here are the 18 karat rose gold in the
sweet size so this gives you an idea of the size on my ear they're about a cm in diameter maybe
just slightly less than a centimeter so they are the more affordable price points starting with the
sweet Alhambra so that comes in the sweet Alhambra bracelet comes in Carnelian uh White mother of
pearl and 18 Kat rose gold I believe and then the sweet Alhambra pendant comes in I think the same
so Carnelian White mother of pearl and rose gold which is this hammered gold I have here they start
off about $2,300 the price changes depending on the stone you pick and um whether it is solid gold
or it does have a precious stone in it all of the stones have a different price point so the mother
of pearl generally is the cheapest price point and when you get into the Vintage size is the mother
of pearl and the Onyx uh stone that have the more affordable price point so if you're looking
for an entry level van cleef and arpels piece I definitely recommend the ear starts I do feel like
the sweet Alhambra bracelet is quite small and it looks good if you're going to stack it with a
number of other things but if you're just wearing it on your own it's not overly noticeable the
pendant is really cute but it is Tiny so you just need to be aware that your moot be is really small
on a pendant so if you want to something more of like a statement piece the sweet size is not
really going to be it so my recommendation is the ear studs if you can afford them obviously they're
a little bit more expensive but I mean I feel like they're more of a statement and depending on
your hair color so say if you're blonde the Onyx would look really great on you and if you have
dark hair I feel like the Carnelian red would look really great on you I chose the Solid Gold
version just because I don't like having to take my earrings out constantly especially when I'm
showering and washing my hair and also because I already have white mother of pearl um earrings
in a Bulgari stud so I didn't want to get the same thing again if I was to get a second pair of
the sweet Alhambra earrings I would go for either the Onyx or the turquoise because onyx is really
hard wearing um it's less fragile and a lot of people do shower with it in and keep it on all
the time um whereas mother or po you can't you shouldn't shower in it you shouldn't get it wet
there's all these different rules no perfume no um creams nothing so it's a little bit harder to look
after as an earring um but I definitely recommend the solid gold hem version or um say the Onyx or
the kind in would look really beautiful with dark hair totally if you can afford it the turquoise is
so beautiful but it is a little bit more expensive and it is also harder to look after it's in that
same boat with you know you can't shower with it on you can't use perfume on it you can't uh wash
your hair in it there's all these different rules and things with van cleef and arpels Stones so I
really love the turquoise but it would be that it would need to come out every single time you wash
your hair pretty much next collection we're going to take a look at is the frivole collection
so this is sort of their second most popular collection behind the alhambra collection so
the frivole the more affordable Pieces come in the mini size frivole bracelet and the mini
size frivole pendant so these are available both of them in 18 karat yellow gold with a tiny
beautiful diamond in in center and they're also available in 18 karat rose gold with a tiny Ruby
in the center so that is so beautiful I absolutely love rubies so when we're looking at the Mini
model of the fravole my recommendation would probably be the pendant uh just because it it's
the way it's sort of contoured it would reflect a lot of light and be really quite eye-catching
so I feel like as a pendant that would be really beautiful I do worry that maybe the bracelet
because it has a lot of flat edge of gold it could possibly scratch if you uh wore it with
other bracelets so I think the bracelet would be better to be worn alone and I always recommend
the ear studs because that is something that you can wear every day it's in the middle Mini model
they're so tiny they're super cute they're really light reflective and just absolutely gorgeous so
I definitely recommend in the Mini model in the ear studs I feel like earrings you can wear every
single day you don't have to ever take them off um and they're just like a beautiful uh feature
to your face so when we're taking a look at the third most popular collection from van cleef and
arpels it is the perlee collection now the most affordable price points in this collection are the
rings so the Peay pearls ring in the small size comes in 18 karat rose gold yellow gold and white
gold white gold being slightly more expensive so the small size in the P rose gold and yellow
gold ring retails for $820 excluding taxes and then the white gold is $870 excluding taxes then
we can move into the medium siiz model which also comes in the three Golds the yellow and the rose
gold retail for $1,360 excluding taxes I hope that video was helpful for you guys wanting to begin
